this is what no one wants to tell you about birth

When it comes to birth, there’s no one-size-fits-all. The parents of our project open up about their experiences to help dispel the myth of the perfect birth.

“The physical, mental and emotional strength that was required at that moment was beyond.”

Before your baby arrives, there’s a lot of focus on the birth – and there’s a lot of judgement and social stigmas around it too. Friends, parents, colleagues, medical professionals, governments and pretty much everyone else seem to have an opinion.

This leads to many parents feeling like they can’t talk about their birthing decisions and experiences. We want to live in a world where we can have an honest conversation about birth so that expectant parents can make the decision that’s right for them and not feel guilty if this doesn’t go to plan.

The parents of our project have made a start but we’d love you to join us by being open about your experiences and showing parents everywhere they’re not alone.
